Yoga

Yoga, the state of mind where you will get a calm platform to stabilize your thoughts and concentrate on yourself. Yoga, is much like a banana for your stomach which is rich in fiber and clears your digestive system. You mind receives a daily dose of different types of thoughts and for new aspects you needs to clear the previous state of disturbance or ongoing thought process.

This requires a daily practicing of asanas (yoga postures) which will help you physically and mentally to think, act and analyze into a whole new horizon. After in depth study and personal experience I have mentioned the following five yoga postures which will help you in ultimate relaxation and stating your day with high energy level:

Malasana

Malasana

For every yoga posture I recommend you to choose a pleasant place where you easily get fresh air to breathe in, which will increase the oxygen level in your blood.

The word Malasana is derived from Sanskrit which stands for Garland, this is the pose which helps greatly in food digestion which results in strengthening your digestive track.

For this asana you are first required to stand perfectly in a pose where you can place you’re both the legs to the width which is needed to be equal as your hips with your toes pointing opposite from each other.

In the next step you are required to join the palm of your both hands perfectly inside your thighs allowing your knees to be open as shown in the photo.

Focus on your deep breathe and your spine cord needs to be straight. Practice this posture for around 5 to 10 minutes in the starting phase and gradually increasing the time there after. Within only a week of daily practice you will feel that it will helps you in stretching your muscles and will let you to work without any body pain during your long office hours.

Uttanasana

Ever wondered disadvantages of gravity force acting on your body? Yup it is true, gravity affects your body by giving you a high blood flow in your legs as compared to vital organs like brain. This asana is in my list because it benefits by providing a high amount of oxygenated blood flow to our brain.

If performed daily it will help in curing headache and hair related problems, people experienced an increased level of stress tolerance also.

Stand straight and then touch the ground with both your hand while keeping your hips above as shown in the picture. Your stomach region will be touching your thighs resulting it in stretching of your legs as well as upper body muscles. Recommended time duration for this posture is 2-3 min in starting and then hitting 10 to 15 as per your choice.

Balasana

Balasana

This posture is named after bala, which is a term used in Sanskrit for child. This is practiced all over the world to reduce nervous system related problems, it affects your spinal cord and reduces spine related pain problems.

For this you need to sit on your legs as shown in the picture, your hip will be resting on your feet, now gradually raise both of your hand posturing straight with your spine.

Now rest both your palm on the grounds kneeling forward gently and exhaling all your negativity. When you are doing it for first time limit the duration to 1-2 min and increase it till 10min after a month of practice.

Shavasana

Shavasana

This is the asana totally dedicated for your mind to be in relaxed state, in which you will achieve a minimum number of running thought in your mind concentrating to cut yourself from outer world and focusing on your inner peace.

To do this you are required to lie on your back, relax your body and hands, and spread your feet apart. Now close your eyes and concentrate on the centermost part of the brain area, you will feel your heart beat, air flowing to your lungs, all you need to do is focus on yourself and don’t let any negative thought enter your mind. Lie down in this positing for 15 min and when you will look at yourself you will observe a more confident version of you.
